Networking hacks to win more deals

If you’re newer to wholesaling and you wanna be successful, you can’t be afraid to reach out to flippers and landlords. If you don’t know any yet, go to local REIA (Real Estate Investors Association) meetings a couple times a month.

Also reach out to people over facebook, cold call people that advertise themselves as cash buyers online, and make posts letting people know you’re looking for people to add to your buyers list.

When you go to meetups, don’t just swap business cards, make sure you’re building real relationships. Text the people you meet afterwards. Reach out to them regularly and ask some of them to run appointments with you.

Also if you’re new, don’t hide it. Tell them straight up: Hey, I’m just getting started, trying to do some deals and get experience. I’m willing to take less on this one to make it happen.

99% of investors will respect the hustle and remember when they were in your shoes. When they see you’re serious about learning and you’re taking action, they’re more likely to mentor you and buy deals from you down the line.

You can also use the other investors you meet as a resource for the in the ballpark sellers or the ones who aren’t super motivated but could still be a deal with some negotiation and the right buyer lined up.

When opportunities like that arrive don’t hesitate to reach out to your network and say: Hey I’ve got something that’s close, what do you think?

They’re used to getting sent deals so it’s no big deal and if the numbers are close enough they might just be able to buy the deal from you and make it work.

Quality lists matter
