Staying focused

You can’t allow people to break your focus.

You can’t allow things to distract you.

You have to stay on task and concentrate as much of your time and energy to your mission as possible.

Obviously you have obligations, but outside of those obligations you can’t allow anything else in.

Letting other things and people in will ensure your continual failure.

Friends and family that aren’t successful and hungry will hold you back and drag you down. 

Their negativity, their victim mindset, and their slow and moronic thinking will only infect your energy, dumb you down, and waste your time.

I’m not saying you should be a dick to people and be a completely selfish ruthless person, but there has to be a point where you look at the bigger picture of life and understand that these people are providing zero value to you.

By giving your time away to them you are only prolonging you and your family’s success.

If you’re not making more money than you know what to do with and you haven’t achieved absolute financial freedom, you need to start cold calling for real estate deals!

Doing wholesale deals, fix and flips, and owning rental property is one of the easiest ways to set yourself free.

You can do it with a job during your weekends and off hours. You can do it with little to no money if you’re willing to put forth the effort and find other investors and/or lenders. And you can do it from ANYWHERE in the world.

The best way to get started is by calling up owners of distressed houses and offering them 70% or less of the after repair value (ARV) of their property.

Once you have the property under your control it’s up to you to decide if you want to wholesale it to another investor, fix and flip it, or hold onto it and rent it out to tenants.

One of my favorite softwares to do this with is Dealmachine.

Dealmachine has an in-app dialer you can use with your phone, tablet, or computer. It gives you virtually unlimited free skiptracing, meaning you have access to the contact and property information of almost every homeowner in the country, and with that information you could start doing deals as soon as TODAY.

It also has an in-app map that you can view properties in area with, kind of like Zillow or Google Maps, and you can mark them and add them to a list as you’re driving by if you see any that have potential.
